Jason Watts, DMD
Dr Jason Watts was born in Vancouver, Canada, and was raised in South Florida. He is a Florida State alumnus and graduated from Nova Southeastern University – College of Dental Medicine. He is an active and proud member of many organized dental groups from the national to local level, but most importantly the American Dental Association and Florida Dental Association. Recently, Dr Watts founded the Tri Smiles Foundation, which aids disabled athletes in competing in sporting events and living an active lifestyle.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr Watts is traveling all over the country publicly speaking and mentoring. He prides himself in keeping up to date with the continuing education and furthering his skills to better the experience for his patients and community. He is an outdoor enthusiast seeking any adventure he can. Triathlons, skiing, hiking, beach volleyball, riding his motorcycle, are just a few of his many hobbies.
Long term goals: He and his sister (Dr Vanessa Watts, DMD), strive to travel the world giving back to others through mission trips.

Dr. Sausha Toghranegar - Periodontist
Dr. Sausha Toghranegar is originally from Tampa, FL where he attended the Hillsborough High School International Baccalaureate program. After high school, he began his collegiate journey at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors Degree in Microbiology and minors in Nutritional Sciences and Theater. His passion for dentistry brought him to Nova Southeastern University where he obtained his Doctorate degree, Master’s degree, and completed his periodontal residency. Dr. Sausha has received multiple honors throughout his educational career, including induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society.
After his educational career, Dr. Sausha returned back to his home town to bring back the knowledge and skills he has obtained to provide the best care possible to those in his community. Dr. Sausha remains active in his educational endeavors and remains on top of the progressive trends of periodontal procedures and dental technology. He has lectured locally and nationally on minimally invasive periodontal plastic surgery, accelerated orthodontics, digital dental planning, and the latest dental implant technology. With the use of digital technology and 3D printing, Dr. Sausha has been providing customized dental Implant treatment. This allows him to provide the care each patient personally needs.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sausha is an avid independent film-maker. Ever since he was in elementary school, he has been creating movie magic. He also loves following, watching, and playing sports. He passionately follows the Buccaneers, Gators, Lighting, Rays, and as of late the Rowdies. On his free time he enjoys especially enjoys traveling and exploring nature with his family and friends.

Laura Ann Koberda, DMD
Dr. Laura Koberda was born in Houston, TX; however, she had moved around quite a bit before settling down in Tallahassee, FL. After graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Florida State University, Dr. Koberda completed her dental education at the Medical University of South Carolina. She then pursued an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Florida campus in St. Petersburg, FL. There she received advanced surgical training as well, enabling her to perform such procedures as wisdom tooth removal and implant placement. She is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
As an avid beach goer and boater, she naturally fell in love with the Tampa Bay area. She decided to remain and devote herself to serving and caring for the local community.
In addition to hitting the beach, Dr. Koberda loves to travel and play tennis. She enjoys long walks down the wine aisle and is a St. Petersburg happy hour/brunch enthusiast. She is passionate about Florida State football (bleeds Garnet and Gold), and also follows the Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Lighting.
Professional memberships include: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Michelle Amiel, RDH - Lead Patient Advocate
Michelle was born in Morocco, and grew up in Montreal, Canada where she completed her Dental Hygiene Degree in Expanded Duties in 1977. She lived in Vancouver for 10yrs and then the East Coast of Florida for the last 20yrs. Michelle has raised two successful children that are practicing Dentists in Florida.
Through her vast knowledge in dentistry, Michelle has become a dental consultant and assists Dentists to build successful offices with her gift of Leadership and advanced knowledge in patient advocacy and care.

Michelle enjoys living an healthy lifestyle encompassing yoga, swimming, sailing, reading and healthy foods.
Pamela Edwards - Patient Advocate
Pamela was born in a small town called Perry, GA but moved to Florida at the age of 8. On New Years Eve 2016, she got married to her husband who is a professional paintball player and together they have 2 Akitas, 1 Bull Mastiff, 1 cat, and are excited to start a family and add to their “zoo” as she calls it. Pamela graduated from the University of Central Florida with her bachelors degree in Psychology and has been in the dental field since she was 16 years old.
When you call our office, Pamela will be the person greeting you on the other end and although she does not look it, she is half mexican and is fluent in spanish. Pamela is also well versed in the insurance side of dentistry and is excited to help educate patients on their benefits and help them maximize the most of their plans. The patients experience is Pamelas #1 priority and making you feel a part of our Watts Dental Family.
Pamela enjoys spending time with family and friends, entertaining in her home, cooking and learning new recipes, kayaking, paddle boarding, and hiking through mountains on vacation.
Denise Williams, Marketing
I was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia. At the age of 18 I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and lived there for 8 years. Then at 26 I moved to Florida. Where I found the love to care for those who couldn’t care for themselves and I wanted to make a difference. This is where I enrolled in Tampa Medical Prep where I received my Patient Care Tech, CNA, Phlebotomy and EKG licenses.
I also found the passion for Marketing and a way to deliver a positive experience to others. I found smarter ways to grow businesses on a more personal level.
When I’m not working you can find me and my 3 kids Aubrey 20, Chris 18, and Elani 10 at Disney having a blast or just being around great friends and family laughing and traveling making every moment Matter.
Natasha Kopa, RDH
Natasha Kopa has been a longtime resident in the Riverview area. With her dad being in the Air Force, her family moved to Riverview in 1992. Natasha has attended all the local schools in the Riverview area such as: Boyette Springs Elementary, Rodgers Middle School and Riverview High School. Natasha then went to the University of South Florida and earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology. Afterwards she moved to Philadelphia and earned her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene at Manor College.
Natasha has a passion for learning and wants the best for her patients. She is a strong believer in motivation and enthusiasm to make her patients feel welcome and relaxed in the dental chair.

Natasha has a variety of hobbies that include: playing the piano and guitar, crocheting, kayaking, video gaming, origami and photography. She also enjoys caring for her 3 Miniature Pinschers named: Diesel, Spike and Ginger.
Sabrina Hurgoi, RDH
Sabrina was born and raised in Central New Jersey and moved to Brandon, FL in 2017. She graduated with an A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene in 2002 from Middlesex County College, NJ. With 17 years of clinical experience, she has a light and thorough touch which keeps her patients comfortable.
Sabrina loves to travel and has a passion for animals and bodybuilding. She has a cat named “Babe” and has competed nationally in figure competitions.
When not treating patients, you will most likely find Sabrina at the gym, the beach, laying at the pool or on Amazon.com!
Enrique Leytividal, Lead CDA
Enrique is a native Floridian raised in Miami. After graduating high school in 2003 Enrique enlisted in the United States Navy as a Dental Technician/Hospital Corpsman. He served for 7 years and was honorably discharged in 2010. He was stationed in Naples, Italy and on board the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN75) working as the dental surgical technologist treating Sailors and Marines. He deployed twice to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom. He was trained in tactical combat casualty care and dental related emergencies during his 7 years in the Navy.
Upon completion of the Navy, Enrique sought to teach and help others at Nova Southeastern University - College of Dental Medicine as a teaching dental assistant working with professors to help dental students and the Oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. He has helped graduated over 734 dentists graduate. Enrique is a highly motivated and passionate dental assistant. He is currently enrolled at the University of South Florida finishing his bachelor’s degree to eventually apply to dental school in the future.
On his free time Enrique enjoys dancing, which he grew up dancing in shows since the age of 7 and teaching Salsa and Merengue in the Navy on his free time, going to the beach to swim, and also cooking new dishes.
Ashlyn Elston, CDA
Ashlyn was born in California and moved to Colorado when she was 3 years old. Later, she attended Pima Medical Institute in Colorado Springs where she studied to become a Dental Assistant. Since starting her career in 2014, she’s continued to display her passion and love for dentistry. Ashlyn is a great addition to the amazing Watts Dental team.
Ashlyn always wanted to live near the water, so she relocated to sunny, beach-friendly Florida in October 2018. In her free time she enjoys being at the pool and creating memories on the beach with her friends and family. She has two adorable nieces that she loves dearly and tries to visit them as often as she can.
Jeann Hernandez, CDA
Jeann was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida in 2014. When she arrived as a high school junior, her main goal was to learn English and then return to Puerto Rico. She attended Riverview High School and grew to love Florida so much that she changed her mind about going back to Puerto Rico.
After graduating from high school, Jeann attended Concorde Career Institute, earning her certification as a Dental Assistant. Jeann performed her externship clinical hours at Watts Dental and was immediately hired upon graduation.
Jeann is passionate about caring for patients and making them feel comfortable while in our office. Her happiness is contagious as she puts patients at ease, helping them enjoy a stress-free visit. She treats every patient as if they were part of her own family.
Jeann enjoys time with her family and spends as much time as possible with them when she’s not working. She loves going to the beach, playing soccer, and studying English to improve her vocabulary. Jeann is a true asset to the Watts Dental office - for both our staff and our wonderful patients.
Jessie Saville, Admin/Hygiene Coordinator
Jessie Savilla is excited be making her debut at Watts Dental. She has been in the dental business for over seven years. Going to school to be a Dental assistant brought her a skill set that has helped her through life in more ways than one.
As a Native New Yorker she enjoys theater, museums and good food. Always up for something new and fun and ridiculous.
Being at Watts Dental has taught her how to bring her Absolute A Game and how to be a true team player. Jessie is exited to show patients what next level dentistry looks like.
Maria Vargas - Dental Assistant
Maria is originally from Dominican Republic, after graduating from dental school at Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) in her country, she moved to the Brandon area and has been here for 4 years now. Earned her EFDA/X-ray certification in 2017 and has been working in private practices until she found Watts Dental. Maria has a passion for dentistry and with her daily optimism wants the patients to feel happy and stress free when they visit the dentist. In her free time she enjoys cooking, writing and off roading but most importantly spending time with her family. Her goal is to go back to dental school to practice as a dentist.
Beka Hunter - Admin/Treatment Coordinator
Beka Hunter is a Florida native who was raised in Lithia and graduated from Durant High School in 2010. Growing up, she was active in local beauty pageants, cheerleading, and was an officer for the Future Farmers of America (FFA).
Beka is full of life and energy! She’s married to her best friend, Jake, and they have 5 children and a dog named Sammy. She loves being a “sports mom”, watching her boys play football and baseball. She’s an avid Florida Gators fan. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach or riding around our property with the kids on the side-by-side. One more thing on her “love” list – country life!
Beka began working in the dental field in 2012, and loves being able to help patients obtain the smile they have always dreamed of. She’s an amazing Watts Dental patient advocate and she’s excited to be apart of the family
Valeria Melendez, Sterilization Tech
Valeria Melendez was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and has been in the Tampa area for the past 12 years! She is a pre-dental student at the University of Tampa majoring in Criminology. Valeria started at Watts Dental by shadowing Dr. Watts which evolved into being a sterilization tech and being a part of the beautiful Watts Dental Family! Valeria is Honduran and prides herself in her culture along with the beautiful adventures that come along. She is passionate about soccer, Hala Madrid Y Nada Mas! She is a major Star Wars nerd whose strong with the dark side, the force is strong with this one! She admires the ocean and is always ready to soak in the sun with her dachshund, Mia. She loves what she does and is grateful for the hands on experience and knowledge she is able to obtain from Dr. Watts, Dr. Koberda, and the Watts Dental Team.
Phoebe Broster, Admin
Phoebe was born in the small town of Yorkshire, England. Her family loved to travel and have lived in over 8 states and 2 continents, at the age of 13 she settled down in the sunny state of Tennessee where she spent her teen years.
Phoebe was a competitive dancer, horse trainer, swimmer, artist and an avid snowboarder.
She graduated high school at the age of 16 and jumped straight into college at Roane State Community college in Knoxville, Tennessee, for her Phlebotomy and CMAA certification. At the age of 18 she moved down to Florida and fell in love with dentistry. She is excited about going to college to become a hygienist and is motivated and passionate about helping to make people feel more comfortable with their dental experience and turning it into something they are excited about.
Teresa Nelli, Admin
Teresa was born in Washington, D.C. and moved to Riverview, Florida in 2019. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Northwestern State University. She is currently enrolled in Louisiana State University’s MBA program.
Teresa enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, outdoor activities like hiking and camping, going to the beach, and is always up for a good time.
Teresa is well versed in customer service and the administrative side of dentistry. Teresa’s goal at Watts Dental is to make you feel like family at your new dental home as soon as you walk in the door. She’s an outstanding patient advocate and is very excited to be a part of Watts Dental.
Kelly Laux, CRDH
Kelly was born in Gainesville, FL; but don’t be mistaken, she is a Florida State graduate and die hard Nole. After receiving her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science, she worked as a dental assistant and then a dental sales representative in Austin, TX. Over those years, she learned she had a real passion for dentistry and decided to move back home to Florida to become a dental hygienist.
Kelly graduated from Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL as a Hinman Scholar and moved to the Tampa area. While visiting Kelly at Watts Dental, she will probably try to make you laugh. She loves making her patients feel comfortable and confident in their smile.
In her free time, you can find her on the couch watching Netflix with her dog and a glass of wine, somewhere on the water, or hiking around one of Florida’s nature trails.
Jillian, Dental Assistant
Jillian has been with Watts Dental since late 2019. She graduated from Everest Community College, Colorado Springs, CO in 2011where she earned her certification in Dental Assisting. Prior to joining our team, she worked for the Department of the Army as a Dental Assistant at Fort Meade, MD. Jillian has been fortunate to work in several aspects of dentistry and in doing so, has gained a wide array of knowledge and experience along the way.
Jillian was born in Long Island, NY and moved to Florida when she was eleven years old. She met and married her high school sweetheart Steve who recently retired from the Army after 22 years of active duty service. Their son has also decided to serve in the Army and is currently stationed at Fort Stewart, GA.
She and her husband Steve, have three children, Bryce, Corryne, and Mia. In her spare time, Jillian loves spending time with her family. She also loves to travel, kayak, hike and, frequent the beach as much as possible.
