Porcelain Crowns, Bridges, & Veneers
If you have missing or cracked teeth, you are probably not happy with your smile. We are here to help you feel better about your mouth so you enjoy showing it off.
One way we can do this is by offering crowns to our patients. A crown covers up a bad tooth so you have a natural-looking tooth that fits right into your mouth.
Crowns are also used to keep a filling in place when there is not much tooth left. They can also strengthen your regular teeth by giving them extra protection. If you have discolored teeth or teeth that are misshapen, a crown will help you have a smile of which you can be proud.
Crowns are attached right to your teeth so you will be able to do everything you can do with normal teeth. You can eat all of the foods you enjoy, no matter how hard it is to bite.
Many different types of crowns are available, so we will be happy to discuss your options so you can be happy with your new smile.
Many patients lose teeth as they age. This can actually change the way your mouth looks and functions. It can also change the look of your face.
For this reason, we offer bridges to help fill in the gaps. Bridges with artificial teeth can get your mouth back to its correct shape and functioning as it should.
There are a lot of options when it comes to bridges. They can be made of different materials, including porcelain, gold, and alloys. You can also get removable or fixed bridges. You can take your removable bridges out yourself to clean them, while your dentist will have to remove fixed bridges. Fixed ones are implanted right to your jaw or under your gums.
It is always important to have a thorough examination with x-rays. After that, we will be able to discuss your options so we can make the right choice for your mouth.
Veneers are used to cover stains, chips, decays, or irregularities on your teeth.
Veneers are a thin coat that a dental technician applies right over your teeth. In order to proceed with veneers, you need to have a model made of your teeth so that your veneers can be custom made to fit your mouth. We also have to remove some enamel to make them permanent.
It is important that you take good care of your veneers. We recommend staying away from food and drinks that may stain them. They can also crack or chip if you are not careful.
Veneers are a more affordable option to give you a beautiful smile. They are much cheaper than crowns, but they will still help you have a smile of which you are proud. They are also better than bonding because many people complain that their bonds lose their natural tooth color.
Do you think you may need porcelain crowns, bridges or veneers?

I have a complete fear of the dentist due to past horrible experiences (unfortunately yes that is a plural statement - more than one time I’ve had a painful and scary experience). I haven’t been to the dentist in a few years because of my uncontrollable anxiety. I did a lot of research on dentist offices before choosing Watts Dental. Mainly I chose them because of reviews, distance to my home, and the ultimate reason - they have therapy dogs for comfort. Any office that wholeheartedly believes in the importance of therapy animals has to be concerned with putting patients minds to ease.Carrie Nickerson 1/04/2020
So with trepidation and uncontrollable anxiety, I went to my appointment today. My fears were quickly comforted by Kelly (my hygienist) by explaining everything that she would be doing before she did, offering me lavender essential oils and a blanket and pillow, choosing me a beautiful music playlist of calming stress free music, and being beyond gentle and understanding.
After my time with Kelly, the rest of the staff was just as accommodating, friendly, and made me feel at home and comfortable. I got to visit with their (not one but TWO) therapy dogs (which are Aussies - my favorite breed - and minis at that). Dr. Watts was quick and thorough with his exam - and I’m happy to report that not only did I set my 6 month appointment - I will be keeping it.
My daughter has the best and most wonderful dentist and ortho, and I wished I could find an adult dentist who provided the same level of care, compassion, and understanding - and I have!
Watts Dental is absolutely the only place to consider for your dental work! The most caring, friendly, smart people are there and take care of you from the minute you walk through the front door until you leave. You can’t go wrong here.... give them a try! Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Watts!Ali Zambello 10/16/2019
Amazing staff with a friendly and down to earth atmosphere! They are polite, authentic and so welcoming. What a great day I had at the dentist. Kelly cleaned my teeth and it was pain free. Dr Watts is super professional and personable. Crazy to say this, but I’m looking forward to going back to the dentist. I highly recommend 😃Amber Risner 10/10/2019
Anytime I have to visit the dentist my nerves make things very difficult. This experience however was my first with Dr. Watts and by far my best. Little to no pain which is extremely important to me and I was also pampered (bonus) imagine that at a dental office. Anything I need done with my mouth going forward will be done at Watts Dental! Awesome job guys and very much appreciated!Privileged One 10/09/2019
